This policy explains what MenuStaged ("we", "us"), operated by Outliers Lab LLC, a Wyoming, USA limited liability company registered at 30 N Gould St STE N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, collects and how we use it when you use menustaged.com or our service.

Information we collect

• Photos and order materials: dish images, generated drafts, approved exports, revision requests and related instructions.
• Contact and restaurant details: your name, restaurant name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, sales platform and delivery details.
• Conversations: messages and attachments you send through WhatsApp, email, the website or support channels, including feedback and opt-out requests.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment but never store your full card details.
• Website event logs: basic first-party events such as page views, engaged views, upload intent, checkout clicks, WhatsApp clicks, an allowlisted campaign reference, page path, timestamp and a random page-lifetime visit ID.
• Legacy prospect records: a past cold-outreach experiment used imported business contact details from public or commercial business listings, such as restaurant name, business phone number, listing source and outreach status.

How we use it

We use this information to create previews and paid results, review and deliver orders, provide revisions and support, process payments, prevent abuse, keep transaction and opt-out records, and understand whether the preview and checkout flow work. We do not sell personal data or publish customer images as marketing examples without permission.

Marketing and legacy outreach

The legacy imported-contact dataset is no longer used for non-permissioned marketing. Future promotional WhatsApp or email outreach is permission-only. Where we send marketing, we record the source, time and scope of permission and honour opt-outs. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that a person who opted out is not contacted again.

Processors and sharing

We share information only where needed to operate the service or comply with law. Photos and generated images may be processed by configured image-generation and review providers, which can include xAI, Google and OpenAI. Relevant photos, instructions and conversation excerpts may be processed by language-model providers, including Anthropic or OpenAI, to review images, interpret requests and assist with replies. Meta processes WhatsApp conversations; Stripe processes checkout and payment data; hosting, storage and email providers process the data needed to run and deliver the service. These providers may process data in countries outside yours under their own security and transfer arrangements.

Cookies & the website

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The random visit ID exists only in the open page and is not written to browser storage. Event records use the path without the full query string and do not persist IP addresses. We load web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts.

Retention

• Unpaid preview uploads and generated previews: 7 days.
• First-party website event records: 90 days.
• Customer and prospect message text: 90 days after the last message, unless a dispute, safety issue or legal requirement needs a longer period.
• Paid-order photos, generated drafts and delivered assets: 30 days after delivery.
• Encrypted daily backups: live deletions may take up to 7 additional days to age out. Customer media is excluded from longer-lived weekly and monthly recovery copies.
• Historical trial and cold-outreach image sets from the paused experiment are quarantined and excluded from new backups while we review publication and consent provenance. They are not used for new non-permissioned marketing; you may request deletion of material associated with your number.
• Opt-out, transaction, tax, fraud, refund and dispute records: retained only as long as reasonably needed for suppression, accounting, legal or payment obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to stop marketing, and may request access, correction or deletion of personal data, subject to applicable exceptions. Email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
